By Barry Eberling, Daily Republic
Various Suisun City restaurants have some deals to offer from Friday to Jan. 22.
The Suisun City Waterfront District is promoting Suisun Waterfront Restaurant Week. Participating restaurants will have their standard menu with the usual prices, but will also offer a menu of specials.
For example, there’s The Joy of Eating Cafe on Solano Street. It opened in 2007 and is owned by Won and Sun Kim. The original The Joy of Eating opened in Vallejo in 1978 and has been owned by the Kims since 1997.
During restaurant week, The Joy of Eating will offer breakfast and lunch specials featuring such things as a burger with
fries.
Restaurant Week may bring people to the waterfront who otherwise wouldn’t go at this time of year.
“January is usually a slow month, after the Christmas season and the end of New Year,” Won Kim said.
